Green & Silver
This one-of-a-kind sculptural vessel is called "Green & Silver". It's inspiration comes from the wonderful willow baskets being created by contemporary basketry artists. This vessel is woven entirely with wire, using twining and 3 rod wale basketry techniques. The wire used is fine silver plated copper wire and anodized aluminum wire. This piece is signed with my initials "SLS" and the year completed. I have included a photo of the piece with an apple to give you a sense of the scale.
