Striped Orb Ornament
In 2021, to celebrate of my tenth year making ornaments, I brought back three of my favorite designs with special new details. This is the Striped Orb, a special version of the 2017 “Red Orb”, with added silver and gold stripes.
It is crocheted with wire. Each one is unique since they are crocheted by hand. It has a thin silver string attached for hanging. It looks lovely hanging in a window or on a Christmas tree and the shadows it casts are wonderful. The ornament comes in a box which can also be used for storage. The third photo shows all of the tenth anniversary designs. The other two designs are listed separately in the shop, if still available.
Each year, since 2012, I have created an original limited edition wire crochet ornament. I make each design only during the year in which I design them - and when they're gone, they're gone!
Size: approximately 2 1/2”- 2 3/4" high x 2” - 2 1/4"" diameter
Materials: colored copper wire, colored silver-plated wire, silver-plated wire (all with tarnish resistant coating), silver embroidery thread
