This is Spring Thing, a small woven wall piece. The center element is a “found” rusty spring with colored wire wrapped around it. It is hanging within a wrapped and coiled frame of colored wire over a cable core. Fun fact - it took over 100 ft. of colored wire to wrap and coil the frame!
